"After all, there is no enjoyment like reading!" - Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen.

Books can mark a person forever. They can change your perspective on things, people, and life. They can lift you up or break you down. Here are three books that have changed my life.

1. The Boy Who Steals Houses

Heartbreaking and heartwarming: This book will tug at your heartstrings and forever change you. Sam is fifteen, and he and his older brother, who has autism, have been abandoned by all his family. This book follows the hardship of Sam trying to build a new life for both of them. This book changed my perspective on the complexity of homelessness, love and family. You can buy it here.

2. Pride and Prejudice

A timeless classic tells the story of Elizabeth Bennett, a witty and headstrong young woman who falls in love with the wealthy Mr Darcy. When Elizabeth confronted her prejudices, it prompted me to confront my own. When Mr Darcy broke down his pride, I also realised I needed to. This book changed my perspective on relationships, love and class. You can buy it here.

3. Atomic Habits

This book is for you if you want to turn your life around and build strong, healthy habits. James Clear shares his story of how he built micro habits in order to reach his goals and the life he desired. This book changed my perspective on how to build lasting habits and take control of my life. You can buy it here.
